Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

The service

ResumeBucks is a free web tool. You give it a resume and a job description, and it lists each job requirement with a status and the sentences in your resume that support it. It does not score you, predict hiring outcomes, or apply to jobs for you. By using it you agree to these terms.

Results can be wrong

The map is produced by an AI model. It can misread a requirement, miss a relevant sentence, or judge evidence too strongly or too weakly. Review every result and every suggestion before you change your resume. You are responsible for what your resume says.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of your resume and the job description you submit.
  • You give us permission to process them to produce your map, as described in the privacy policy.
  • Submit only your own resume, or one you have permission to use.

Acceptable use

  • Do not try to break, overload, or bypass the limits of the service.
  • Do not use it to process content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.
  • Do not scrape it or call it with automated tools.

Availability and limits

The service is free and provided as is, without warranties. Requests are rate limited and there is a daily limit on total maps, so it may be unavailable at times. We may change or stop the service at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from using the service or from relying on its results.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it.
